Sunday 6th July: Trinity 3

Thank you to everyone who was able to come to St Paul’s Cathedral on Thursday to be part of the service for Moira as she was ordained bishop. Again, thanks to people who sent messages, and for prayers for Moira’s new ministry. It was a joy to be with so many of you and to meet again people from our parishes in Berkshire and North Lincolnshire. I found it a moving and emotional service and, while the focus was on Moira, how the words of the service at several points put her ministry in the context of all of our ministries. Each of our ministry - that is all of our activity for God - is important and makes up the whole life of our church.

I write this from Tiverton and will spend a few days moving boxes around and unpacking them before returning to Tadworth and will be at our service of Compline on Thursday evening.

I am available by phone or email if needed. With every blessing,

Tim
