Two new things for this week:
The new Church Website is now up! I thank Nicky Dunderdale for her considerable design work and much time spent putting it all together, and Nicky and Callum Hawker for all the behind the scenes stuff on web hosting and making a smooth transition from the old pages. Please have a look and tell us about any corrections, additions, and perhaps to offer more photographs of church life and church services, including special services, that can enhance the site.
This Sunday we introduce new Communion Service music, made possible thanks to the Keith Robertshaw legacy. The new setting is called Trinity Mass by David Thorne and includes the Gloria, Gospel Acclamations, and the Sanctus, Benedictus and Agnus Dei sung as part of the words of Communion. We will be use it at each Holy Communion service over the next six weeks to give the congregation a good chance to learn it and become confident to join in with the choir lead.
May God bless you,
Tim

Can you help with Church Explorers?
From time to time we need another adult to sit in with one of our Church Explorers leaders. This gives an extra pair of hands to help the children with their activities. It also means we are providing a safe environment for our children under safeguarding recommendations. You do not need to have a DBS check or any particular training to sit in with the group.
We also invite teenagers in our church families to come to Church Explorers to help from time to time or more regularly.
To find out more please have a chat with our Church Explorers leaders, Lis, Laura and Nicky.
Giving a Legacy to the Church
Have you considered giving a gift or legacy to the church in your will? Our church has been blessed in recent years by several legacies. Most of these have been for the general work of the church and have made a difference to our annual church finances. Most recently the gift from Keith Robertshaw, given to support the church choir, has been used to buy new choir music including the Communion Music used for the first time this Sunday (23rd June).
Information about church finances and planned giving to the church is available at the back of the church, or you can speak confidentially with our Church Treasurer Richard Gollop.
For our Prayers
We give thanks for the lives of Will Pepper and Michael Rogerson.
We pray for members of our church family who are too frail to come to church services.
