Sunday 19th January: 2nd Sunday of Epiphany

Writer: Timothy AstinTimothy Astin

This week coming is Pantomime week when all the hard work and preparation comes to fruition and some well-written jokes get their airing. Moira and I are looking forward to seeing it as I expect many of you are.

I know not everyone likes the pantomime artform. We are all made differently and shaped by different experiences. In a way that is the theme for tomorrow’s services when we explore the gifts of the Holy Spirit given to us – one Spirit of God and many individual expressions of the gifts of the spirit through each of us. January is often portrayed as a time to take stock so what better time to come and explore your God-given gifts.

With every blessing,

Tim
