Sunday 15th September: 16th Sunday after Trinity

Thanks to the CoGS Social Committee for the Quiz entertainment, and to everyone who made the Welcome Back Barbecue possible. No sooner than these events have happened, and the next ones start to come into view. The Cabaret evening (see below) is well planned and will be splendid. And before that we have the Macmillan Coffee morning and the Harvest Festival service and lunch. News comes to me of the opportunity of a new craft group too. We are blessed with a lot of activity in our church life.

Of course our worship of God is at the heart of our shared life. As well as our well-established pattern of services, we have just had our monthly Compline service. Now the nights are drawing in I am keen to hear from you about how you are finding this service and if we should keep the same time or bring it forward through the winter.

May God’s Holy Spirit guide us,

Tim
