I wonder if you have looked at the Ribbon Display for Baby Loss Awareness Week which is on the church hedge? It means a lot to those people who have placed ribbons to remember their child, and to feel support as part of the wider community of people. Each year at the Good Shepherd we hold a specifically Christian service, the All Souls Service, this year on 3rd November when names of those who have died are read out and we give God thanks for them. The lists for you to put the names of those people you would like read out at this service will be in church from this Sunday.
Tomorrow evening is our Choral Evensong service when we welcome additional singers to our choir for this special service.
Finally, thank you everyone who has told me how much you enjoyed the Harvest Festival service last Sunday.
